Upcoming Training Sessions
All trainings are currently held at the Make-A-Wish
Foundation of Central New York office. Please note,
dates and topics are subject to change and you must
contact the Make-A-Wish office to sign-up for
training sessions.
Wish Granting
All volunteers interested in becoming a Wish Granter
are required to take Wish Granting 101 and must
complete the required LMS courses and submit an
application before being eligible to sign-up for
Wish Granting training. Wish Granting 102 will be
offered as a follow-up to Wish Granting 101 and will
discuss topics of concern in more detail. Volunteers
must complete Wish Granting 101 before they are
eligible for Wish Granting 102.
*Please note: It is required that all current and
new Wish Granting volunteers complete Wish Granting
101 & 102 training sessions by September 2010 in
order to remain at an active Wish Granter status.

Enrichment Training Sessions
These courses will be offered to all volunteers.
These mini-training sessions will be taught by
outside community leaders and volunteers
with expertise in various areas. They will provide
our volunteers with additional tools useful both in
the volunteer role as well as in personal and
professional lives.
