Information: This is our 3rd annual Walk for Wishes,
which is scheduled Saturday, May 3rd , and is named in memory Tiffany Heitkamp, who was killed
in a boating accident near the town of Webb in July, 2006.
Walk for Wishes participants are encouraged to raise at least $25 in pledges to help grant
special wishes to children under the age 18 who are living with life-threatening medical
conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Registration begins at
Long Branch Park at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3rd prior to the two - mile walk.

Southern Tier Walk/Run for Wishes®

Information: The Walk for Wishes will be held Saturday, May 17, 2008 at MacArthur Park in Vestal. We'll offer a competitive 5K run and a 5K non-competitive walk. The event will begin with registration at 8:00am and the run/walk will start at 9am. All money raised will grant special wishes to children under the age of 18 who are living with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

21st Annual Onondaga Beverage Make-A-Wish® Open

Information: Celebrating its 21st anniversary, the Syracuse Make-A-Wish® Open has grown into a flagship fundraising event for the Foundation. The Tournament will be limited to 32 foursomes, who will enjoy the competitive, play-your-own ball format at one of the top courses in Central New York . The entry fee includes greens fee, cart, lunch refreshments at our oasis stops, a gift for each golfer and a relaxing awards dinner.

Information: Make-A-Wish Foundation ® of
Central New York grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to
enrich the human spirit with hope, strength and joy. More than 1,050 wishes have been granted
since our Chapter's inception in 1985, and more than 80 have been granted to children in the
Southern Tier since 1996. The Southern Tier Make-A-Wish® Open is a spirited
tournament that helps raise the funds necessary to continue granting wishes for children
throughout the Southern Tier. The tournament is limited to 36 foursomes and follows a captain
& crew format.

Information: Save the date, and join the Make-A-Wish Foundation® , Jim and Juli Boeheim, the Syracuse Men's Basketball Team, the Sour Sitrus Society, and the Syracuse University Cheerleaders and Dance Team for this ladies only luncheon. Highlights include a player auction where guests bid for their favorite team member to join them at their table, raffle, silent auction with unique sports items and memorabilia and much more.
